A visit to Ethan's school

 Ethan's class invited their families to come and see the "town" that they built. Ethan was in charge of building the library of the town, it is the back building in the 1st row with the purple sign. Then we headed outside for a school-wide lunch!

I have had some fun one-on-one time with this kid while his brothers are at school!:)

Piano Lessons

Ethan had a great year of piano lessons and has really come a long way and loves playing! Here is his piano teacher with all of her students at a recital that she held for them a couple days ago. Ethan was too shy to play this time, but after watching others play, he is ready to play in the next one! Good thing our piano, which has been sitting in storage for 12 years, is going to get some use here real soon when we move back (might need a tuning!).

So they do love each other...;)

My Wonderful Mother's Day!

On Mother's Day, I was spoiled by my sweet boys (with lots of help from my amazing husband!). They dressed up as chefs and made me dinner! It was the sweetest thing and they were the cutest chefs I have ever had serve me dinner! :)

Science Saturday

A couple weeks ago, the boys did some science experiments. They has fun making playdoh, oobleck, and slime! They had fun being scientist for the morning :)

Preschool Graduation

Today Caleb graduated from preschool! It was a cute ceremony where his class sang and danced and they even got diplomas :) It is crazy to think that next year I will have TWO in school all day - makes me kind of sad actually. I am happy that they are growing up and loving life but I do wish there was a pause button sometimes! Great job Caleb, congratulations!

 This was a big week for Caleb, he also finished his t-ball season and got a trophy!

Idaho Potato Half-Marathon

I had been training since November to run 13.1 miles without stopping and I did it! On Saturday I ran the half marathon in downtown Boise and it was the most beautiful course I have ever ran! The weather could not have been more perfect and neither could my awesome supporters! Love these guys and it would not have been possible without them, especially Jim who cheered me on when I thought it was not possible and of course letting me disappear for a couple hours on the weekend for my long runs and during the weekdays for my short runs. What a fun experience and a good way to remember my time here in Boise!

Happy 7th Birthday, Ethan!

Happy Birthday to our sweet, loving, curious little boy who led us on our adventure into parenthood! We are so proud of him and are so blessed to have him in our life!

Grandma Sowerwine Visits!

Last week grandma Sowerwine came out for a visit! The kids had not seen her since last July, so they could not wait to spend some time with her. We definitely kept her busy with sports, school, and other activities, but we had a great time! Miss you already!

A Weekend Away!

After my mom stayed for a week, we headed to California to spend some time with my sister, Kelly.  CJ and Kelly are about to have a their first child (a girl!) at the end of June, so we helped put on a baby shower for them! We spent some time getting to know their wonderful friends and CJ has an amazing family that are so much fun to hang out with! It was also her birthday that weekend, so we had lots to celebrate! We had a blast and next time I see them, they will be parents and I will be an aunt!:) The weekend could not have been more perfect!
