First Day of School!

 Caleb starts preschool!

 Ethan starts full day kindergarten!

It has been a great summer and the boys have had a blast. It all ended today as they begin the first day of school. They are going to have a great time and as I sit here with mixed emotions, I know that they are going to do great!

8 Months...and TWO teeth!

Blake now is nine months old and has two bottom teeth that stick out when he smiles (which is all the time when his brothers are around!). He so curious, just like Ethan was and soon he will be walking! He is crawling all over and climbing up on the furniture with ease. He likes his new found freedom and occasionally finds himself getting into something he shouldn't, but what kid doesn't! He loves to eat and we are starting to give him table good which is going well. Some of the textures he does not like, but for the most part, he is enjoying new flavors. He is a great baby who sleeps 10-12 hours a night straight, so I can't argue with that. We love our "Blakey" as we all call him!

Blake's 6 Month Stats....

Blake had his 6 month check-up the other day and he is growing like a weed and is well on his way to crawling (any day now!). He has mastered the army crawl and is sitting up from a laying down position on his own. He is such a joy, especially with that huge smile he gives us - love you Blake!

Height: 28 inches (90th percentile)
Weight: 19 pounds 2 ounces (75th percentile)
Head Circumference: 45 cm (95th percentile)

Little Robin Eggs:

These are my other babies. There is a robin who made a nest right outside my window in our tree. I check on the eggs all the time and can't wait for them to hatch. The boys are of course as attached to them as I am and we are making sure to give them plenty of space so we don't scare them away. It is funny, the robin used to leave the tree while we were outside playing, now we can be two feet from her and she will just sit there in her nest. More pictures of the little birdies to come!

6 Months

Our little baby is 6 months old already! He is developing quite the personality too! He reminds me a lot of Ethan at this age. Blake is either "growling" or singing in a high pitched voice all the time and it is hilarious! He loves to smile, especially when his brothers are around :) He loves peas, pears, and carrots and we are slowly working on others foods. He can get up on all fours, but can't quite figure out how to make them all work, but I know that in the near future he will figure it out and I will have a crawler on my hands!! He rolls everywhere like a log and has mastered the army crawl to get himself around or to get to toys that he wants. Of course, EVERYTHING goes in the mouth and he is really good at pulling hair and it hurts! He is pretty much sleeping through the night and is totally a stomach sleeper just like his mom. He loves to fight his naps, but we are working on that and things are going better. We love our "chunky monkey" and can't wait to see what the next six months brings!:)

Caleb is now fully potty trained and is so proud of himself, as are we!! Way to go buddy! The first thing he said after he went for the very first time was, "Now I get to go to preschool!" Can you tell what I had been telling him?!?! Back to just one in diapers and it feels so good!

Our weekend in Grand Rapids! ( Just for you Uncle Mike!)!

4 Months Old

Our little  man is already 4 months old! He is our "chunky monkey" and he is so much fun! He is giving us huge smiles all the time, he is grabbing toys and putting them in his mouth, he can play in his jumper and excersaucer, and he loves eating baby cereal! The older boys just adore him and love to make him laugh and play with him...so melting to a parents heart! Here are the stats on our little man....
Length:  26.5 inches - 95th percentile
Weight: 15 pounds 12 ounces - 75th percentile
Head Circumference: 43cm - 98th percentile

He is growing well and is such a blessing! We love you Blake!

Kelly's Wedding

This past weekend Jim, myself and Blake headed to California for my sisters wedding. It was great to spend time with her and all of our family as well as her husbands family. The week went by way too fast and before I knew it, we were on a plane home back to Michigan where I could not wait to get my hands on my older boys who stayed back with grandma and grandpa. Congrates Kelly and CJ, love you guys!
