Road Trip

Last weekend we took a road trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to meet up with some wonderful friends and their family! It was too quick of a trip, but with busy schedules all around, we took the first available weekend and took full advantage of it! We stayed in these cute little log cabins that were right by the swimming pool, we hiked around Jennie Lake, which is surrounded by the beautiful Tetons, shopped, ate out, grilled out, we walked into town to get ice cream one night, swam, the kids played while the adults talked and caught up, we were busy and had a great time! Hot Springs

Last weekend we drove to a secluded place just outside Cascade, ID that has natural hot springs. It was a two hour trip through the mountains, but totally worth the drive! The boys swam and played and can't wait to go back again. Locals say the best time to go is in the winter, but the dirt roads are all closed because of the snow. A place we are sure to visit again!

Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Today Caleb and I had a fun time at his first field trip with his preschool class! They went to the pumpkin patch where they played in corn kernels, petted some animals (including the cutest baby pig ever!), picked out a pumpkin, went in a corn maze, slid down a tube slide, went on a hayride, and had a snack - whew! It was pretty cold out, but we made the best of it!

 I love fall!
