Boise, Idaho.....here we come!

It is an exciting day here at our house, Jim found out that he will be completing his one year fellowship in foot and ankle in Boise, Idaho!! We will be moving in July of 2013 and are looking forward to a new adventure but will surly miss all of our friends and family back home! Thank you to everyone for all of their love and support a long the way!:)

3 months old!

Blake is now three months old and is such a joy! We call him our little "chunky monkey" due to all the rolls this boy has :) He loves to smile and to be in the sitting position, enjoys when his brothers play with him and hold him, he likes walks outside, and he loves to sleep! Blake at two months old was sleeping 12 hours straight at times but it is usually 8-10 on a continually basis. It is so nice to get sleep at night, especially when he is our third. Just like th other boys, he is at the top of th charts in height and weight and is already in 6-9 month clothes. We love our little "chunky monkey" and he is such a wonderful addition to the family!

Ethan and Caleb are really becoming buddies! It is so great to see. They are constantly making up games (two if which are listed above) and it is so neat to see their imaginations run wild together! The best part...this is only the beginning!:)

Yesterday Caleb asked me if he could sit on the potty...so we did! I am not getting my hopes up, but at least he is getting interested:) Way to go Caleb!

2 Months Old!

My baby is two months old and is such a joy! He is smiling all the time and starting to tell us stories every once in awhile. He went to the doctor today for a check-up and shots. Here are his stats:

Length - 24 inches (75th percentile)

Weight - 13 pounds 8 ounces (90th percentile)

He is doing great!:)

Love these boys!

Ethan and Caleb have been so great about Blake entering our family. They are so gentle and just want to say hi to him and make him smile all the time. They fight over who gets more face time with him, that is the kind of bickering that I don't mind :) Blake could not ask for two better big brothers! Can you believe I just went to a kindergarten meeting for him the other day!?!?!

Blake is now 7 weeks old! Where has the time gone! He is a great addition and we love having him in our life, we truly are blessed with three healthy boys to love and play with everyday! Here are some pictures of our little man!

Coloring

I have to give a shout-out to Ethan who has really blossomed when it comes to coloring in the lines. He really is starting to take his time and colors some really neat pieces of artwork. I am running out of room on my refrigerator! Great job Ethan!

It is official! Our handsome little guy can smile and it is so much fun to not only see him smile, but to see the older boys make him smile:) They will tickle him, make silly faces and play patty-cake with him which always brings a smile to Blake's face. What great memories!

Life....

Life around the Jastifer household can be summed up in three words: Enjoyable, sleepless, and busy! I would not change it for the world, even when I see every hour of the clock some nights. I love my family and the family and friends that surround us. Between a newborn, a toddler, a preschooler and Jim's schedule (interviewing, on-call, attending conferences - all of this on top of his regular duties) and trying to maintain a regular schedule around the house, our days get filled up fast and sometimes I forget what day it is! I feel very blessed and so happy with how things are going and I look forward to March when things start to slow down for Jim and hopefully Blake will be sleeping better too and the fog will start to lift:) For those of you who do not know, Jim is in the process of interviewing for a fellowship spot in foot and ankle (kind of like a sixth year of residency) and we find out in the beginning of April where we will be going following his fifth year here in Kalamazoo. Definitely lots to look forward to between the kids and where we will go from here. Life is good!! I can't believe that he is one month old already!

Grandma Jastifer came over the other day to spend some time with Ethan, Caleb, and Blake. It was nice to have her here and she even brought dinner! Thanks for all the help with the boys! Grandpa came to hang out too!
