Fall is in the air!

We have been busy with all the usual fall activities. Eating apples and cider, picking out and carving pumpkins, making and eating pumpkins seeds and of course, playing in the leaves! Ethan even went to his first Halloween party and had so much fun! Our playgroup is having a Halloween party tomorrow at our house, so that should be fun:) Ethan is going to be a monkey and Caleb is going to be Tigger, I can not wait for trick-or-treating (so I can help eat the candy)! Picking out the prefect pumpkins!Carving pumpkins!! Ethan and Caleb are very proud of their jack-o-lanterns!Ethan at his first Halloween party with his friends. Getting ready to play musical chairs and hitting the pinata!

Happy Fall!

Future soccer player??

Borrowing his brothers shoes that are too big for him - how cute is that!?!? Dad is proud!

30 Weeks!

I am feeling good and I am enjoying every moment of this pregnancy (okay minus the times that I drop something and have to pick it up!). The baby is growing well and has a heartbeat of 145, is kicking and moving ALL the time and I am craving cereal! Any predictions on a boy or girl?? :)

Dog Sitting

Our neighbor asked us if we could play with her dogs and feed them one day while she was away. The boys love her dogs Ross and Lennon and were happy to do so. They had a lot of fun, not so sure if the dogs felt exactly the same way! Ethan insisted on walking the dog in the backyard Ethan made the cottage a "doghouse"!

The dogs were "thirsty" as Caleb would say :)

Marble Wars

It seems that it has become a war at who can make the best marble run in the house. Here are a few that were created last week including Ethan's first one he built by himself! Aunt Keri came over and built one too!

Gull Meadow Farms

This morning our MOPS group took a trip to Gull Meadow Farms, this awesome apple picking, doughnut eating, cider drinking, pumpkin picking and play area for the kids! The kids had a great time and especially enjoyed the big tube slide that they have in the play area.We ended the morning buying fresh doughnuts and cider to take home :) Caleb giggled the entire way down the slide!

Turning 30

I have been 30 for a little over a week now and I am still not used to it. I have so much that I have been blessed with during the past 30 years - wonderful family and friends, 2.75 beautiful children that make me smile every day and give me unconditional love, a loving and supportive husband who amazes me everyday as a dad, husband, and physician, and the chance to be both a teacher and a stay-at-home mom, both of which give me joy, that I can't wait to see what the next 30 years has in store for me. I still get the looks of surprise when I tell people my age and 10 years ago, that would have bothered me, but as I get older, it bothers me less and less and now I see what everyone was talking about when they said, "someday you will appreciate it." I have no regrets during the past 30 years and can only hope that the next 30 are just as wonderful!!

Frist Day of Preschool!

Ethan is now in the 4's class and was very excited to get back to Natures Way Preschool!

Putting his things away in his cubby!

Labor Day Weekend

We had a very relaxing and fun weekend at my grandparents lake cottage in Indiana over Labor day. We were lucky enough to spend it with grandma Sowerwine, great-grandma and grandpa Edwards and grandma and grandpa Jastifer! With Jim now having holidays off, it was nice to spend a long weekend with daddy too. The weather went from warm and sunny to cold and rainy, but we still had a good time and ended the trip with a bonfire and smores! Celebrating daddy's 29th birthdayCatching fish:) The boys love spending time with grandpa Jastifer! Spending some time with great-grandma on the swing set. The boys and all the goodies for smores! Cute Caleb and in the back, Ethan is guarding the smores:) Bonfire :) Jim and his dad relaxing.
