In the evening hours on June 19th, I officially became an aunt, Jim became an uncle and my kids have an adorable new cousin! It was amazing to be there for all of it and we feel so blessed to have this little girl in our life! There is something to special about watching your sister become a mom. What wonderful parents my niece has! Can't wait to hold her again, miss you already sweet Alana!

Strawberry Picking

Every year we pick strawberries and this year was no different. We headed to a farm about 30 minutes from Boise and picked away!
Nothing like picking strawberries while being surrounded by the beautiful mountains!

Summer Camp Field Trip

Caleb is taking a three week cooking summer camp where he attended preschool. On Thursday his class took a trip to Sub Zero, an ice cream shop that uses liquid nitrogen to make their ice cream. They were able to see some experiments using it, eat some frozen marshmallows and eat some of their yummy ice cream with whatever flavor they wanted.
 Watching liquid nitrogen experiments!
Watching his ice cream being made!
Eating his creation of orange with sprinkles ice cream!

A final trip to the Boise Zoo

Ethan wanted to go to the Boise Zoo one more time before we left for Michigan at the end of the month. On Sunday I  took Caleb and Ethan and they enjoyed looking at all the animals, feeding the goats, visiting the butterfly house, digging for fossils and riding the carousel!

Babby's Petting Zoo

We took the kids to a petting school about an hour west of here in the middle of nowhere. They had a blast feeding and petting the animals and I think Ethan wanted to bring home some of them :)
